Oh, yeah, and the Amazon rainforest — which provides 20% of Earth’s oxygen — is still on fire.

So, just so we’re straight, here: Trump is pissing all over everybody, but the Democrats’ main complaint is that the GOP is behaving boorishly and insists on calling it piss – as they blow off impending global disaster and put the kibosh on a climate crisis debate.
Meanwhile, the Amazon rainforest is burning, and wildfires are raging in Africa.
The world is literally on fire and meanwhile, the Democratic Party insists “please, it’s not piss, it’s Chardonnay”.
We aren’t going to be able to “election” our way out of this. It’s time to vote in the streets.

To nobody’s surprise, as part of its long-standing tradition, the Wall Street Journal has endorsed fascist Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil’s upcoming Presidential elections. This is a politician so horrible that even Marine Le Pen won’t touch him with somebody else’s ten-foot pole.

Fifteen thousand families have been forcibly relocated to make room for stadiums and infrastructure for the World Cup in Brazil.
A thousand military-backed police and 200,000 soldiers have been deployed for “security” and the suppression of popular protests against the eviction and displacement of poor families to make room for the World Cup. Police have raided the homes of activists and pre-emptively arrested at least 8 on the eve of the tournament.
