I can&#8217;t pretend I&#8217;m not enjoying this.<\/p>\n<p>This was inspired by an article that appeared this week in <a href=\"https:\/\/sputniknews.com\/us\/201711151059101633-atlantic-manipulates-wikileaks-trump-quote\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sputnik News<\/a> which totally shreds the hell out of a sloppy-ass hit piece by Julia Ioffe in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theatlantic.com\/politics\/archive\/2017\/11\/the-secret-correspondence-between-donald-trump-jr-and-wikileaks\/545738\/\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Atlantic<\/em><\/a> about a meeting between Julian Assange and Donald Trump Jr. which was trumpeted as some kind of &#8220;smoking gun&#8221; that would validate the last year and a half&#8217;s worth of neo-McCarthyite conspiracist freakery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Drip, drip, drip &#8212; <em>muthafuckaaahhhs.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>11&#215;14 inch <a href=\"http:\/\/sinkers.org\/posters\/smokinggun\/smokinggun.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">medium-res color .jpg image,<\/a> 527kb<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>And so, yet another wannabe neo-McCarthyite &#8220;journalist&#8221; is busted faking it at a major US media outlet.
